Hybrid Threats Observatory: our quarterly watch is online!
One week after the official launch of the Observatory’s website, here is the second quarterly watch, October 2026.
Economic security alerts on the rise. Public information that opens the door to attackers. AI tools used outside any control.
Organised into four sections, the watch analyses the major events and warning signs that have affected companies over the past few months.
Three signals stand out:
1. Economic security alerts have tripled in five years: SMEs and mid-sized companies are on the front line.
2. Companies often expose themselves, by making too much information about their organisation visible.
3. Shadow AI is spreading through companies: unapproved tools, exposed sensitive data, decisions made without verification.
Because our analyses are sourced and verified, the watch also offers an institutional overview of the main publications from the DGSI, the DRSD, the European Central Bank, ANSSI and Clusif.
